The moss series uses a clay slip stained with copper to coat the pots.
The different thicknesses of the slip react with the glaze to create a spectrum of colours.
Sometimes I cut through the slip - like a lino-cut - to make marks as well.

I love the organic nature of this process which leads to subtle gradations within and across pots.
